These Terms of Use apply to Auto Clicker & Macro Recorder, developed by Bohdan Bilous (“the developer”, “I”, “me”), presented by macapp.studio. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What the App Does
Auto Clicker & Macro Recorder automates clicks, held buttons, cursor movement, and scrolling. It can record and replay sequences containing mouse and keyboard actions, timing, and cursor paths. Features include configurable rates, target areas, app restrictions, presets, schedules, action limits, and shortcuts. Availability may vary by app version and purchase option.
2. License and Ownership
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to applicable purchase terms and platform rules. The app, its design, code, and branding remain the developer’s intellectual property. Do not redistribute the app, bypass licensing, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits it.
For copies obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply unless a valid custom license accompanies the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Permissions and Recorded Input
Automation and recording features may require macOS Accessibility and/or Input Monitoring permissions. Grant only the access you intend to use; revoke it in System Settings > Privacy & Security at any time. Revoking access may prevent recording or replay.
A macro can include key presses and interactions with other applications. Start recording only when intended, and stop it before entering passwords, payment details, private messages, or other confidential content. Review recorded steps before saving or replaying them.
4. Your Control and Responsibilities
You choose the target, rate, duration, schedule, and repeat count of automated actions. Test new setups at a low rate and with a limited action count. Check which app is in front, keep the stop shortcut available, and remain able to stop the automation. Replayed actions can cause unintended clicks, submissions, purchases, deletions, or other changes if the interface has moved or changed.
You are responsible for obtaining permission to automate any third-party app, game, account, or service. Comply with its rules, including automation and anti-cheat restrictions. Do not use the app for spam, fraud, unauthorized access, harassment, disruption, or evasion of security controls. The developer does not promise that automation is permitted by any game or service or that your account will not be restricted.
5. Purchases, Pricing, and Refunds
Available features, prices, purchase types, and any renewal terms must be shown at the point of purchase. Do not assume that a particular feature is free or included in an upgrade. For purchases made through Apple, Apple handles payment and refund requests under its policies. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request help with an Apple purchase.
6. Privacy
See the app’s separate Privacy Policy for the intended handling of settings and recorded input. These terms do not grant permission to record another person’s confidential information or to disclose content without authorization.
7. Availability and Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without additional warranties. Compatibility, automation timing, and playback results can be affected by macOS changes, other applications, hardware, or system load. Operation is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical tasks.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, account restrictions, or damage resulting from incorrect setup, unattended automation, or misuse. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer remedies that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
9. Ending Use and Changes
You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. Rights under these terms may end if you materially breach them, subject to applicable law. The app and terms may change. Updated terms will be identified by an updated date; material changes and any required consent will be handled as required by applicable law.
